Unopened Kits: DNA kits have a shelf life of up to four years. After Sample Collection: Once samples are collected, they remain usable for up to three months.

Paternity Tests (Father and Child): Results are typically available within one to two business days after the laboratory receives the samples. Relationship Tests (e.g., Sibling, Grandparent): Typically completed within three to six business days. Prenatal DNA Testing: Usually finished within three to seven business days. Delivery of Results: Final documentation is sent via mail and/or email, based on client preference.

Local Collector: A professional collector can visit the client’s location. Mail-In Kit: Clients receive a buccal (cheek) swab collection kit with return packaging.

Avoid eating, drinking, or using mouthwash for at least 30 minutes before testing. Only donors or clients are permitted at the testing site; additional guests are not allowed. Clients must arrange a suitable testing location, as testing cannot be conducted at a client’s residence.

Standard Mileage Rate: A fee of $0.70 per mile applies for travel beyond a 25-mile radius, payable upfront. Extended Travel: Distances exceeding 50 miles may incur additional travel time billed at $35.00 per hour. Calculation: Mileage is calculated for a round trip. Waivers: Mileage fees may be waived for bulk testing contracts or special agreements.
